Emergency Medical Dental Clinic is North Dublin’s Premier Emergency and Aesthetic Dentistry Clinic open 7 Days a week including Saturday and Sundays every weekend.

We provide the dental bonding technique to restore or enhance the appearance of a tooth that has been damaged, chipped, cracked, or discoloured.

Patients rely on the artistry and expertise of our cosmetic dentists at Smile Hub Dental Clinic for composite bonding. Teeth bonding is a quick and efficient approach to fix small flaws.

One of the easiest and least expensive cosmetic dentistry procedures, it is excellent for hiding flaws. It may be utilised for

• Restore corroded teeth.

• Replacing broken or chipped teeth

• Alter the teeth's form

• Make the teeth appear longer

• Minimise voids between teeth

• Whitening discoloured teeth

Dental Bonding: What Is It?

A unique tooth-coloured composite material is put to the tooth during this treatment. A laser is used to solidify the material after it has been moulded into the desired shape, which permanently attaches the material to the tooth.

The cosmetic bonding method uses composite material, which is coloured, shaped, and polished to match the neighbouring teeth. As a result, the bonded tooth will appear perfectly natural.

Less tooth enamel needs to be removed when choosing dental bonding over veneers or crowns, and anaesthesia is typically not needed.

The drawback is that bonding materials aren't as durable as those used for a veneer or crown, so they don't last as long.

Although tooth bonding isn't suited for everyone, we'll make sure you have all the information you need to make an informed decision.

Following a thorough examination of the affected tooth, we will recommend whether aesthetic bonding, a veneer, or a crown is the best course of action for you.

The Technique of Dental Bonding

Selecting a composite material shade that closely matches the colour of the tooth to be bonded and the teeth on either side of it is the first step in the dental bonding process.

After deciding on a colour and preparing the tooth, we will apply the putty-like substance, shape it, and smooth it out. Next, a painless laser is used to solidify the delicate bonding substance.

After the tooth bonding material has dried and solidified, we will polish it to make final aesthetic modifications so that it precisely mimics the appearance and texture of your teeth.

Typically, a tooth can be bonded in just one 30- to 60-minute visit to our dental office. Multiple teeth will require more time to bind, therefore it may be better to spread out the process across several visits.

Dental bonding normally lasts 5 to 10 years, after which time touch-ups or a replacement may be required. In Dublin, we are able to manage the full tooth bonding procedure.

Our mission is to provide exceptional aesthetic dentistry while also promoting long-term dental wellness.

Our carefully selected team of dental specialists will go above and beyond to ensure that each patient's treatment plan is specifically tailored to their needs.
